    3. Mandatory for Runners – Review by Tom L.

      Overall Rating

As a runner most of my life, I've run on many treadmills mostly in commercial gyms and hotels, and have always been irritated with the fact that to monitor my heart rate I had to, "hang onto something" Who does that when they run? The Polar Chest strap really is a necessity if you plan on, "running" on any treadmill. We purchased our first treadmill recently, AFG 5.1AT. It is equipped with a Polar Console which works with the Polar chest strap. My wife loves the treadmill for her walking so she can monitor her heart rate while hanging onto the bar and I can monitor my heart rate via the chest strap while assuming an upright running posture. If you are going to spend significant dollars purchasing your own treadmill it is vital that it meets your needs. If you use your treadmill for running, should have the same electronic support as walkers. The Polar Chest Strap now makes the treadmill universal for both walkers and runners.

    4. Hand wraps – Review by Patricia L.

Love the stretch and the logo. I find the loop for the thumb a bit too big for my hand, but I think that the thumb loop is one size fits most. I still give it two thumbs up!

noticed the slight change with the chin up bar in the current posting. before was a straight bar versus the multiple handle grips. not a big difference.

still an amazing rack for what it's worth.
