Tower 200 Reviews
The new Tower 200 is made by Body by Jake. It is a resistance band training that has been designed to be placed onto any standard door. It provides resistance of 200 pounds and has 200 different types of workouts. Its steel frames easily attaches to the door and comes to you pre-assembled. The resistant bands exercise the entire body, including the arms, abs, shoulders, chest, legs and more.
There are three bands that are color coded on each side; each with its own resistance level. Red: 40 pounds, black: 35 pounds, gray: 25. The two hand grips included can be connected to any cord or multiple of cords for more resistance. These grips can be attached at the top of the device for pull down exercises or attached at the bottom for press movements. It also comes with a pair of ankle straps that can be attached in the same manner as the grips. A DVD as well as exercise charts is included to provide you with workout plans and examples.
The most important feature Randy Couture’s Workout Machine is the multitude of exercises that can be performed with it. Once you have completed presses, pulls down or 21s, you will quickly feel it working and appreciate its quality. The major selling point is the convenience and simplicity of the Tower 200. This is because all the exercises that you want to do can all be done on one piece of equipment.
Within just a few seconds, the Tower 200 can be lifted and placed into any door of a home, office or dorm. Unlike other devices for the door, this has padding so it does not do damage to the door. It attaches to the door by hooking its top piece to the top of the door and hooking its bottom piece underneath the door. It is so easy to install that anyone can do it. Assembly is not needed because everything comes already together.

I bought my Tower 200 2 months ago. Its a great piece of equipment. I picked 15 exercises for my personal workout. 40 reps of each, 45min a day and 5 days a week. Yes, I can notice a difference in strength and physical appearance. Also, take 1 cup of whey protein after each workout. Oh, by the way, I’m 62yrs. old.

Depends on your workout. With my routine, I noticed it in 4-6 weeks.

The depends on more than just your workout. Someone with high body fat will take longer to notice results than someone with low body fat. You need to pair a good workout with a good diet plan as well. Lower fat intake, increase protein intake, drink plenty of water, and take a daily multivitamin. You will probably feel muscles before you see them.

I’m a former cross country runner and weigh about 165lbs and am lookin to gain about 10 or 15 lbs. Would this product be beneficial to gaining that weight and muscle definition?

This is more a conditioning piece of equipment. If your looking to add muscle, I’d recommend a pair of dumbells over this.

Hey i am a fairly skinny person(140 lbs)(5 foot 9 inches) and wanted to know if this would help me get bigger. i have heard its a great product for people who are just starting to work out. From what i have seen here, it looks more like a muscle conditioning piece than muscle building.
thanks

This is a good machine. But, watch for wear on the hand grips (nylon straps). I was just doing my workout, and the strap broke. The metal clip hit the door and put a hole in it. I think they need to do a better job on these. I’ve had the machine for 14 weeks.

I just bought the Tower 200, and I have a permanent place for it. Is it ok to leave it on a door for extended periods of time, or does it cause the bands to wear out quicker?

Hey all –
I’ve seen this ad on tv a few times, and it’s perked my interest, although I’m gunshy about anything that appears too good to be true.
From the reviews I’ve read this seems like a pretty legit piece of equipment.
Here’s my scenario: I work some crazy and long hours, so getting to the gym is hard to do. On top of that I just hate the crowds, having to wait in line to use equipment and fighting for parking space. So this seems like a possible alternative. My doctor has said to get into a cardio routine, and I think this would definitely accomplish that.
I have wanted a bowflex, but simply don’t have the space as my apartment is really tiny. But something that fits on my door might just work, and I can work out whenever I have the time.
I’m wanting to desperately work off the college beer gut and tone up the abs and pecs…
How are the exercises for these regions? I realize that a lot of times you only get out what you put in, but if it doesn’t do a lot of good for the chest, I’d rather focus my energy and money on something else.
Thanks!
–Trevor
