Customer Service Coordinator / Dispatcher

Job brief

The Treadmill Factory is looking for an enthusiastic, energetic and hard working individual to join our Service team at our Markham location. Successful candidate must be fluent in the English language and have experience as a service technician. Candidate must be able to work independently and have the ability to make decisions and provide appropriate and reasonable solutions to customer requests and/or inquiries. In addition, the candidate must be able to multi task, solve problems quickly and efficiently and possess excellent time management skills. As this is a service related position, candidate must have the ability to troubleshoot in terms of determining causes of errors for different fitness equipment and deciding what to do.

Duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Schedule and dispatch technicians to appropriate locations according to customer requests, specifications, or needs. This means preparing daily schedules and ensuring they run smoothly.
  • Arrange for necessary repairs in order to restore service and schedules
  • Communicating with supervisors and peers – Providing them with service related information by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person. Co-ordinate with different departments within the head office to ensure they are given the correct information and/or assistance for service related matters.
  • Confer with customers or supervising personnel in order to address questions, problems, and requests for service or equipment.
  • Receive and prepare work orders, order parts, and issue them to technician or customer.
  • Communicate fluently with customers in person, over the phone and through email. Making sure questions are answered and proper grammar and wording is used when communicating with clients.
  • Completing sales both in person and over the phone when customers want to buy parts or service related accessories.
  • Record and maintain files and records of customer requests, work or services performed, charges, expenses, inventory, and other dispatch information. This also includes performing day-to-day administrative tasks such as maintaining information files and processing paperwork.

Bookkeeper

Responsibilities:

  • Keep inventory items (2000 SKU’s) using standard cost
  • Arrange for necessary repairs in order to restore service and schedules
  • Review all inventory items once a year and update standard cost
  • Analyze and explain variances - over/under applied standard cost
  • Assist the accounting department when required

Attributes:

  • Ability to work with all areas of the accounting department to achieve goals
  • Detail oriented
  • Review all inventory items once a year and update standard cost
  • Analytical & proven problem solving skills

Technical Skills and Experience:

  • Must have strong computer skills and be an EXCEL INTERMEDIATE TO EXPERT LEVEL
  • Must demonstrate knowledge of inventory management
  • Must be fluent in the English language
