    1. Good for heavy bag training – Review by Steve V.

      Overall Rating

I used shin guards before to do some martial arts sparring and they were thickly padded and offered real protection. This is not it: it's lightweight and comfortable and it allows you to kick the heavy bag without hurting your shins. If this is what you want, they will do a good job.

    2. Fit 505 – Review by Ryan

I just put this power rack together yesterday. I was shocked with how well it was packaged and put together for the money. Extremely solid/sturdy. I don't know how they can do it for this price. I was originally hesitant to purchase this rack because the price appeared too good to be true. Chin up bar is awesome. I'm 6' 3" and 210 lbs and there is no movement in cage when I do chin ups. Also, as mentioned prior, 300 lbs Olympic set can be used confidently in the cage with no concerns whatsoever.

    3. Fit505 power rack – Review by Steve

      Overall Rating

I ordered this rack on Black Friday, so I've only had it set up for a few weeks, however I have a very positive impression so far. Others have mentioned problems with knurling on the chin up bars, I haven't had that problem, the knurling is great. I have performed many sets of chin ups and there is no movement of the rack, even without weight on the back posts. I have had 300lbs on the pins and J cups without any problem as well. My one gripe would be that I'm not a huge fan of the J cups. The vertical supports are a bit short, so when you rack the bar they will sometimes 'catch' as you lower the bar onto the cups. Also, the horizontal distance on the J cups is a bit long, so the bar will tend to roll forward a bit after racking. That being said, I still think this is a tremendous rack and I don't think anyone would be disappointed with it.

    4. Good for practicing and training newbs – Review by Jason

      Overall Rating

Good product for the weight you're getting. I wouldn't let these slam to the floor from overhead too many times as it's just not possible to keep plates this small bending, but if used correctly for beginners to learn technique and plates gently back down, they can last forever. They also have a very slightly smaller diameter than the Xtreme Monkey bumper plates, so they can be plates on the ends with larger bumpers and can withstand drops in this manner much better.

I know this seems a little dated for exercise equipment but I love it. There are so many exercises you can do with this. Strong and sturdy, wanted one for a price was too good to pass up!
