    1. Nice plates – Review by Jason

      Overall Rating

I'd probably give them a 5 on 5, but they're a little rougher looking in person than how they look in the picture. They are a rough casting that's simply been painted and not anything more special than that. The smaller kit is very smooth as the pieces are made from ordinary steel and not cast.

    2. Great value – Review by Barney

      Overall Rating

When I first saw this rack I assumed it was too good to be true for the price. In comparison to similar racks that were $200-$300 more I was afraid that it would not be sturdy and that the quality would not measure up.
I received it yesterday and was pleasantly surprised. The parts were very heavy and appeared to be constructed very well. It took me a couple hours (alone) to put it together and once assembled, using the very clear instructions, this beefy looking rack does not waiver. I am 210lbs and using the well placed chin bar the rack does not move. I also used it for 1rm squat workout that evening and the rack worked great.

When you look at the picture provided here on the site it depicts the lower cross bar being where you would normally rack for squats. I was concerned about this because it would have obviously interfered with getting the weight up. The lower cross bar on my rack is under the chin bars so there is no issue. Lots of room inside as well. Mind you I am not very tall (5'10") I am able to do thrusters inside, I just have to take the band pegs off the top.

One caution. There are two joints where it is not reinforced with a solid metal piece and if you tighten the bolts down too far it will cause the metal tubing to buckle so be cognizant of that during assembly.

Overall great value for a basement/garage gym.

    3. Jasmine Fitness Blue Balance Cushion – Review by Anita

Love this item. Bought two so I have one at home and one at work. Excellent for providing me with what I need to find "neutral" while sitting, and doing standing work as well. I have hypermobility and sciatica and this was recommended by my physiotherapist.

Extremely fast shipping on this product from one side of Canada to the other. This piece of equipment is a crazy cardio workout and excellent in self defense training. I filled it up with water and haven't had an issue....jab, right cross, left hook

    5. Dumbbell – Review by Bill

      Overall Rating

I tried the rubber covered dumbbells from another supplier. They stunk up the whole house, and left black marks. I bought these Urethane covered dumbbells from the Treadmill Factory for the same price I had paid for the rubber ones. These leave no black marks, but still stink. I have left them outside for a month, and the smell has mostly dissipated, but not brought to bring them inside yet.

These are far better than the rubber coated ones.
Note - the 20# urethane coated dumbbells I bought from the Treadmill Factory at the same time have NO smell whatsoever! Ah the joys of buying Chinese manufactured products.
