The Powertec Lat Tower Option is a great addition to the Powertec Power Rack. The Powertec Lat Tower Option allows you to perform all the cable exercises on the high and low pulley like lat pulldowns, seated rows, bicep curls, tricep press, upright rows etc. What sets the Powertec Lat Tower Option apart from the competition is the silky smooth movement of the nylon bushed weight carriage. Inferior lat options will have the weight carriage sliding up and down on the structural support. This system works okay on lighter weights but once you start getting serious the resistance is inconsistent. The Powertec Lat Tower Option has separate structural supports and the weight carriage slides up and down on chrome upright runners providing smooth and continuous resistance.
