I have been weight training for personal health for ~6 years, exclusively at gyms throughout universities and training clubs. Most of my experience with benches have been of the commercial variety. Due to the closures in peel region, I needed to look for a comparable solution to be able to continue working out at home. After many days of research comparing available products from Kijiji, amazon and play it again sports I found 3 cases for products. Commercial equipment was far too expensive. A bench with a 1000lb weight limit is far more than I need and costs $600-$900. A cheap bench on amazon cost $160-$180 and had 2 main flaws in my opinion: the back rest was never long enough to have head support when doing flat excursuses and the quality of the bench made it shaky and unstable. This brought me to the FIT505 which I bought with a $70 discount however it should be noted this was an online only sale and the shipping and taxes essentially equated to what I would have spent without the sale (~$277 was the final price). Comparing this to what was available on Facebook, Kijiji and other used stores as mentioned it was approximately $100 more (+/-). The assembly was easy however one screw mount (for the upper padded support) was bent out of shape. I aligned it back with a hammer, probably damaged during shipping. That was the only flaw. I will agree with the other review on here about the gap of 4-5 inches between the seats is quite large and this is just the design. Putting a towel in the area solves this issue and I would not consider it a problem there after. Given the circumstances I am many of you are likely in I recommend this product. I cannot comment on the longevity as I have had it for a short time but comparing it to commercial product I am experienced with I don't expect the frame to ever give way and the pads can be reupholstered in the future if need be. I found the decline position to be quite useable and must admit, I've never seen a bench be able to do all 3 positions. It is not as large of an angle as decline only benches, but sufficient for a lower pec workout and some sit ups. I hope this review is helpful.
