IRONAX XLP Leg Press V3

Very impressed with the quality of this product. It’s compact, but built like a tank with high quality materials. The packaging was excellent, the directions were pretty good for assembly. My only complaint is that the left and right handles were mislabelled, so I have to partially disassemble and reassemble to get them in the correct orientation on their proper sides. It was frustrating. Double check the orientation of the handles and the locking mechanism beforehand!

It is great to use but the assembly instructions are fair at best .

Great leg press. Very good quality for the price. Smooth and stable motion. Built like a tank. The only negative was the assembly instructions which could be improved to be made a little more clear. Other than that, solid machine!

This is a fantastic piece of equipment to add to my home gym.

Honestly I will buy again. Everything was labeled, delivered on time, easy setup PLUS the machines are great. Love it. My clients love it.

I vacillated for YEARS on whether to get a leg press for my home gym. I live in northern Ontario and there isn’t a good leg press at either of the two local gyms. When I say good, I mean in large part a nice wide platform and a good range of motion so that I can go very deep with a wide stance to hit those thigh muscles at and below my butt, which releases that sweet, sweet testosterone due to it being a large muscle group, and really aids my overall power. I find this tough to do with conventional heavy squats because of the stress it puts on my knees and compression on my spine. Yes, I could get knee sleeves and a lifting belt, but they only mask the issue. Anyway, this leg press meets my expectations in this respect and really in all others.

Right away, one major assembling caveat - and this really is a big deal: nowhere in the instructions is there any indication that the silver pistons require bolts at the bottom. Screws at the top cavities are shown, yes, but no mention of bolts needed for the bottom holes nor anything shown in the diagram. Nothing at all! Nor are these bolts included in the package sent. Without these bolts, this very well-built machine is rickety and useless. I realized this and bought the necessary pair of threaded bolts. Now, after a lot of frustration on my part, it works fine and I like it. Your customers should know about this.

The reviews were not wrong! Very fast shipping, it took about two hours to assemble by myself and I took my time ( I used a ratchet with 19 mm socket and slip joint pliers). This is equal to any commercial machine I have used in gyms, I am very impressed at how smooth it operates, I have tested it out with 360 lbs and the rollers glide easely on the support rods, overall a great product at a great price and a perfect addition to my basement gym.

Easy enough to assemble. Very steady machine and works great. Smooth motion while working out. Love this machine.. And it was a great price.

This is an amazing addition to my garage gym. I was pleasantly surprised @ how smooth it is.
The set up took approx 2hrs, I went slow & it was pretty easy, can imagine it could be confusing if rushing.
Had it shipped out to BC & that was the only reason I took a star off, was very slow process & only received updates if I chased them up

For this type of leg press, you can't beat the price. I was worried it was going to be some crappy lightweight piece of equipment like you'd get from Amazon and regret buying it, but the pieces are heavy and solid so you can tell they were made right.

Now that I have it put together, it definitely seems like a solid leg press for the price. However, the installation instructions start off somewhat detailed and then get really vague towards the middle of the steps. At one point it tells you to take three big parts and "install as show" without showing you how to install them. Other steps tell you to use the wrong amount of washers etc.

The handle/catch mechanism seems a little iffy. I tried it several times and it does catch every time, but the handles can be somewhat easily turned once it's in the locked position. This makes it feel kind of dicey trying to get off the machine without kicking the handle by mistake and unlocking it at the worst possible time. I think the lock/unlock positions should have been reversed for this reason and also because, in the unlocked position, the handles are somewhat out of reach unless you have long arms. This makes it harder to really grind out those last reps when you want to be firmly grasping handles.

All in all it's a good leg press for the price. If you look around, no other leg press comes close to being this cheap, and if it did you wouldn't want it anyway. Overall it was a good buy.

Everything went smoothly. We visited the store in Mississauga to see and test it. Ordering on line went well. Picked up a few days later from the warehouse and assembled it without any issues.

Purchase couldn’t have went smoother. Delivery was fairly quick and cheaper than expected. Machine was easy to assemble and the fit and finish is great. Works super smooth. Now just to get more plates to really put it to the test

Was easy to assemble, took about an hour. Had 700lb on this unit so far and no issues. Sled is smooth. Padding is comfortable

Absolutely LOVE this machine! Straight forward assembly (took 2-3 hours) & it slides smooth. The only oddity is the way the handles are, I put the entire machine together & proceeded to take it apart thinking I got the handles wrong somehow. Turns out, they're just odd. Otherwise, I'm happy with my purchase, great machine.

Took awhile to assemble but I love this machine. It was the missing piece I needed for my home gym.

Went together without a hitch.
Smooth function.
Only gripe I have is I would like it to come down another 2 inches on the negativ before hitting the safety stop. Stops me a little short from what I'm used to but overall pretty good.
I'm 5'8" so if you're taller it would be perfect.

Good experience with purchasing it at the Mississauga location. Assembly was not too complex - took about 90 minutes. Only issue - 4 washers short. Called the location to let them know these were missing but the response I got twice is that this was the first time he heard about it. Not the best response. So - I went to Home Depot and bought 4 washers. Other than that - good purchase.

Recently bought this on sale for a home gym. It is good quality for what it cost me, and fits my needs at home.
